DESCRIPTION OF CUSTOMER’S PROBLEM AND REQUIREMENTS.
The Award-winning HMS Compact Mini Loader is primarily used for cleaning spilled product from under and around conveying systems.
The creator behind it, HMS Equipment Pty. Ltd. a member of the HMS Group of Companies Australia has been a partner to Hetronic for many years having great insights in our products to make the perfect compliant and tailored solution to meet their needs.
HOW HETRONIC’S COLLABORATION WITH HMS EQUIPMENT RESULTED IN A WORLD-CLASS RADIO REMOTE CONTROL.
HMS Equipment’s “know-how” based on many years of experience servicing and repairing in-situ underground mining equipment make ease of use – operation and maintenance – priority number one and where Hetronic’s modularity and service friendliness comes in handy.
HMS Equipment’s technical sales and application engineers worked closely with Hetronic to develop all the functional requirements to accommodate all variations of applications the new machine can be used for. The main controller is the NOVA XL to accommodate all the functionality required for the different variations of the loader.
Once agreed on the design and approval of drawings, HMS Equipment developed prototype units for functionality testing, customer demonstration and mechanical design.
After field testing, the NOVA XL transmitter with custom branded layout and the Machine Logic Controller (MLC) Receiver with connection cable for plug-n-play use for valves and other functions were approved for production.
HMS EQUIPMENT was successful in meeting the requirements for a more competitive wireless radio remote control solution for versatile HMS Compact Mini Loader. The new Hetronic design also offers a greater increase in safety, efficiency and productivity. As a result, the Hetronic’s and HMS’ partnership and engineering effort expanded HMS Equipment customers’ capabilities by giving them more freedom to move around their work areas as well as offering them a greater visual supervision of the machine.
